THIS IS MY POINT OF VIEW. LOOK AT THIS. WHAT THE **** ARE YOU LOOKING AT?
The point of view is the angle of considering things, which shows us the opinion, focus, or feelings of the individuals involved in a situation. We are choosing to take a close up view on each others skin, exploring the relation between intimacy of the contact and the distance that’s emerging from the futility in the point of view.
The space is framed in by approximately 7 different monitors in various sizes. In the center of it all, we stand, barefooted, in white linens and blue jeans (with open zippers), deeply involved in an close up investigation of each other's skin. Both are holding a camera which is used to frame what we’re focusing on pointing out our personal point of view for the audience. Claiming the importance of what we’re looking at. The moving images from the cameras is simultaneously shown on the displays around us and our bodies creates an unaware choreography in the midst of it all.
